Ottobre Designs

A while ago, the lovely Erin at Purple Frangipani posted about Ottobre Design. I checked it out, drooled over the gorgeous designs, then forgot about it. Then when I was preparing for the Chestnut Festival, and looking for boys patterns, I found Ottobre again. Each issue contains around 40 (or more!) fantastic kids (and some adults) designs, and costs less than A$20. So I bought two (and Jill bought one of the women's issues) I haven't actually used any of the patterns yet, but I love looking through them and am looking forward to getting some more issues. I'm even thinking of subscribing.

You'll love them - they're so fun, I love just looking at the pictures too (though I was a bit disapointed with the last 2 issues, think I might stick to back issues). I haven't got any of the womens mags, if you make anything from it let me know what you think.

I keep reading about Ottobre Designs magazines but can you tell me where to get them from in Australia? I'm keen to get my hands on the latest issue after seeing the stunning raincoat on the cover on Anna Maria Horner's blog! :)

Hi Amber,
I just bought them directly from http://www.ottobredesign.com/ The postage is pretty cheap, and we got 3 for the same postage as one.
